Terms of sale

These terms apply to every order placed on dog-cooling-mat.com, a store operated by Animouf LLC under the Frimouf brand. Version of August 5, 2026.

1. Scope

These terms apply to every contract between Animouf LLC (30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA) and a consumer placing an order on dog-cooling-mat.com. A consumer is an individual buying for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. We sell to consumers only, and we do not accept trade or resale orders through this site.

2. Formation of the contract

Products shown in the store are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. When you place your order at checkout you are making a binding offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email or when we ship the goods, whichever happens first.

You can correct what you entered at any point before that: size, colour and quantity can all be changed or removed in the cart. We do not file the contract text separately; everything you need arrives by email with your order confirmation. The contract is concluded in English.

3. Prices

All prices are shown in US dollars. Our mats cost between $39.99 and $69.99 depending on size. Shipping is free, with no minimum order. Struck-through prices are reference prices shown for comparison; they are not a manufacturer's recommended price and no third party sets them.

We do not add sales tax at checkout, so the figure shown on the payment page is the figure charged to your card.

This expressly covers import duties and taxes: they are included in the price and are never charged to you a second time on delivery. You have nothing to pay the carrier and no handling fee to settle.

4. Payment

Payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Card, PayPal, Amazon Pay and Link are available, along with Apple Pay and Google Pay on devices that support them. Which methods you actually see depends on your country and your device. We never receive or store your full payment details.

5. Delivery

We ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. Delivery takes 6-10 business days from when we receive your order, including 1 to 2 business days of processing. The details are on the Shipping and returns page.

If we cannot ship within the time stated, we will tell you, and you can either agree to the new date or cancel the order for a full refund. You do not have to wait and you do not have to give a reason.

6. Cancellation and returns

You have 30 days from delivery to send the mat back for a full refund of the purchase price, wherever we shipped it. That is our own policy, not a legal entitlement, and return postage is free for you.

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. It applies on top of our policy, not instead of it. The full notice and the model form are on the Returns policy page, and you can cancel at any time using the cancellation form.

7. Warranties

What you are entitled to if the mat turns out to be faulty depends on where you bought it from us, so here are the three regimes rather than one that would be wrong for most readers.

  • United States: the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose apply under the Uniform Commercial Code as adopted in your state. We do not disclaim them and we do not sell this product "as is".
  • United Kingdom: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. You have a short-term right to reject within 30 days, and repair, replacement, price reduction or a final right to reject after that.
  • European Union: the statutory guarantee of conformity applies for two years from delivery, under Directive (EU) 2019/771. You do not have to report the fault within any set period.

Our 30-day returns policy sits on top of all of these and takes nothing away from them. If the mat arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, see the Shipping and returns page: we replace it or refund it, and you do not send anything back.

8. Intended use of the product

The cooling mat is a surface for a pet to lie on. It is not a medical device, and it does not replace shade and fresh water in hot weather or a visit to the vet. If you suspect heatstroke, call a veterinary practice straight away.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, which continues to apply in full.

There is no arbitration clause and no class action waiver in these terms. We are not a member of any alternative dispute resolution scheme. If a problem cannot be settled by writing to us, you keep the right to bring it before the courts where you live.

10. Final provisions

If any clause of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may update these terms for future orders; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date is at the top of this page.

11. Contact

For any question about these terms or about your order, write to [email protected]. We usually reply within 24 hours, seven days a week.
